For almost fifty years, we have maintained a healing book at West Wickham Church in which members, the congregation and visitors can write down the names of those who are in need of healing. We think of people whose names have been written in the Healing Book at each of our services throughout the week.
These are people who cannot physically attend our church; perhaps they live some distance away, maybe the other side of the world, they may be in hospital, a residential home or just unable to travel. They need not know that we are sending out our thoughts to them, which makes it even more evidential when they start to show an improvement.
Over the years, many people have benefited unknowingly from the absent healing sent out from West Wickham giving us positive evidence that Absent Healing really works and miracles can still happen.
We can't make any promises – the outcome is entirely up to those in the Spirit World - but we do know that healing is always beneficial in some way by perhaps reducing or eliminating pain or easing the transition into the Spirit World.
Don't forget that animals also benefit from healing and possibly respond to the healing energies more readily than humans because they raise no barriers and, unlike humans, have no preconceived ideas or expectations.
Our combined healing thoughts and energies can work miracles.
